Scenic Oaks' student population is served by the schools of Northside Independent School District. They are zoned to Aue Elementary School, Rawlinson Middle School, and Clark High School. Boerne Independent School District also serves the students of Scenic Oak as well. Once they graduate from high school and are ready to obtain a degree in higher education, students can attend any of the colleges, universities and trade schools within the San Antonio metro area, including the University of Texas at San Antonio, Northwest Vista College, St. Mary's University, Trinity University, University of the Incarnate Word, San Antonio College, St. Philip's College, Our Lady of the Lake University, Palo Alto College, and Community College Alamo.
